My opening shot of my music video will show a time lapse shot from a town centre, quickly travelling across the road and into a house, showing the band performing in a room, jumping in time to when the music kicks in. 

My initial idea is for the video to be a performance and a narrative video, showing the band performing the song as well as a narrative story. 

The song that I will be using for my music video is a song called 'nowhere' by Therapy?. It is a punk song that has a big chorus.

I interpretate the songs lyrics about being a relationship that has run it's course and is going nowhere. Alternatively the song is also personal and could be about how your life and how it's nowhere, you have no passion or love for anything. And there is 'something that you want to have but will never get' and one line 'But it's what's inside you've got to rearrange' saying that he must change if he wants to be happy and find love and be happy with his life, living in the past is also a heavy theme. 

I think my narrative part of the video should reflect the lyrics, I have an idea of the two band members are on a 'journey' travelling separately through different weather conditions and locations, and by the end of the video they both come together and we see them come to the location of where we have seen them through the video. So the narrative of the video is mixed as we see the band on there travels to play music, showing there, love and passion for music and each other as they have travelled to get where we have seen them throughout the whole video. This would add to the video and add a new context, as we see what they've had to go through and how much it means to them for this moment.
