  In my music video I want to have a shot where I 'fall' down a hill, before doing so I will check the ground for any dangerous objects such as big rocks and bottles. I will also have some more caution test runs before we start filming. 

  Practice recreation 30 second  piece To practice and build our skills on filming and editing we made a 30 second recreation of a music video. Me and Kyle decided to recreate the music video 'The hardest button to button' by the White Stripes. It shows an almost stop motion notion of a two people travelling around a city in sharp jumps with there instruments. We chose to recreate this video as it was a very hard to do and a very technically difficult technique, as the video requires many shots.   My overall artist's image shows a band who don't take there self's too seriously, which I have shown in my website.  While developing my website, I first chose a grey colour scheme and a picture of the band performing live. But as my artist aren't very serious and have a childlike aspect to them, I decided to make my colour scheme a darkish red as it is a primary colour but it is also darker which shows the band can be serious at some points. I also decided to make a band logo with hand drawn pictures of the two members as this shows the band to be more 'iconic'. I was inspired by other rock and punk bands such as The chats. 

  My opening shot of my music video will show a time lapse shot from a town centre, quickly travelling across the road and into a house, showing the band performing in a room, jumping in time to when the music kicks in.  My initial idea is for the video to be a performance and a narrative video, showing the band performing the song as well as a narrative story.  The song that I will be using for my music video is a song called 'nowhere' by Therapy?. It is a punk song that has a big chorus. I interpretate the songs lyrics about being a relationship that has run it's course and is going nowhere. Alternatively the song is also personal and could be about how your life and how it's nowhere, you have no passion or love for anything. And there is 's omething that you want to have but will never get' and one line ' But it's what's inside you've got to rearrange' saying that he must change if he wants to be happy and find love and be happy with his l

  Context  The song unfinished sympathy by massive attack realised in 1991. Massive attack our not the most conventional artists as they are very politically minded.
